On a side note, it would be wise to have most the crew know English before reviving Americans. In such a tense situation, Americans aren’t gonna like that a whole crew is speaking a language they don’t understand.

well this is America, It’s very likely that somewhere in our country there will be nuclear bunkers with guns stored in oil. It would take some serious maintenance but you could get them working again.
