The problem with Parametron is, when there are 200.000 of those little coils around, the EM field created by those coils will messed up with the computation. 0 can be miss read as 1, vice versa, or the field just yield too much electricity and/or magnetic and literally burn everything.
Story wise, good for introducing digital computation concepts for the uninitiated. .
