For Pete’s sake! If international authors don’t want fan translation groups to distribute your work, then either translate it for audiences outside your native country or hire reliable translators to translate and distribute them for you in a timely manner!

Posting whiny “but you’re not buying them from me!” rants do nothing to solve the problem, makes you look stupid, petty, and entitled, and makes audiences that like your work even less likely to support you.

Honestly, if these companies did their own english translations I would really buy them. I would love to shell out a few bucks for a reliable translation of a story that I can read without waiting on a fan group to translate.
