I don’t buy it. He gets on a flight based on sudden switch of careers and the supposition and assumption that his drive and determination have to be caused by some responsibility? The dude could just be an otaku or hate his job and is looking for a new passion. People switch jobs all the time and find new passions. I’m sure plenty of other people dreamed of raiding dungeons. It was just uncertain in the beginning. I’m sure plenty would have tried tho.
