A small munitions factory could replace a country’s stockpile in hours, a small nuclear reactor could make enough rare isotopes to treat the whole world’s cancer patients in weeks. A hydroponic garden could eliminate world hunger and also supply the world with medicine. Or take down two dozen pandas and save a species in a month. It would be an irresistible resource. When MC showed up saying, ‘I have to make this treasure trove go away or the world will end’, he’d be assassinated immediately.
