I enjoy reading this so much because you can understand the progress the mc make and after killing a person he do not lose his humanity.

I can’t help but find the “oh, boo hoo, I killed someone! Let me go barf and/or cry like a little bitch!” route so cliche and pathetic. It’s kill or be killed. I would accept him taking a day or two to reflect and accept that it’s just the way it has to be, etc, but the way the story went is far too overused. I get that it’s an expected reaction but against reality, expectations will always fall miserably short.

[The Constellation ‘The Drunken Hermit’ greatly appreciates the depth and morality shown in these characters, and the MC isn’t just one of the many trigger-happy Protagonists who have no problem throwing away their humanity. ‘The Drunken Hermit’ wishes he could give the MC a hearty slap on the back.]
