Not sure why he didn’t throw or use a few instant-kill spikes from the trap. If he thinks a fist is good, a spike through the cranial cavity works more than a little better. Unless he wants to tame them by knocking them out ….?

Mmm… You normally cannot hope to tame wild predators just by giving them food. Killing it is better in this situation.
…But he should really make some proper weapons and armor if he intends to go up into the dangers of the surface area. He knows that it’s a dungeon.

mc needs to get his act together. Covering your ears when theres a threat? Thats how you die and only works in todays society if youre autistic.
