I wanted to see her in tears, begging him for what she’d done.

She already was mentally broken ther was no torture that would have worked on someone who wasn’t living and thought with their entire being that the best sorry would be putting them out of their misery. I don’t think she would have cared what happened to her after word if she had won the fight. Also you get to see that as a slave she was broken to some extent.
