I’m guessing the mayor doesn’t want the dungeon cleared since it brings in money for the town so he is thinking of forcing Rou to ruin the dives by kidnapping the sister… or?
i’m a bit confuse here he’s saying to protect the girl cause he don’t want other to take advantage of him ( and by doing so tarnishing is honor as a sherpa by maybe betrayal of the black princess party)
or cause he hate him but in that case why warning the grandma ?

I don’t quite understand, the mayor wants to kill MC, because he tarnished the name of “The Hero of the East” by becoming a Sherpa / porter?
