I don’t think magical fire creates smoke. Normal fire needs oxygen to continue burning and in the process of using that oxygen it produces carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide (the smoke). Magical fire is fueled with mana and not oxygen, therefore it doesn’t release smoke. This is just my opinion tho.
