Having super speed would not make a kid isolated, it would make him unbelievably popular. He would dominate every game of tag, hide-n-seek, and any group sport involving a court or field; he would be the soccer/baseball ace by this point in life.
What WOULD have made him unpopular AND still special enough to be a webtoon MC would be an Awakened ability that is powerful but with disgusting secondary effects.
