Aside from the fact that there world is basically pokemon/YugiOh… they solved the problem of getting attacked and nearly killed with a duel…..
Why send the top 10 from the world academy when south korea has 6 stronger students….
I get where they’re coming from, wanting to solve problem themselves, but they already knew that the probably strongest (Duke) betrayed them and already knew about their powers and limits. So there was no way that Frame would agree to this competition if they didn’t knew they would 100% win.
Why send the other kids into a slaughter house?
This is like voluntarily playing poker, when the opponent can see your cards but you can’t see theirs, and going “all in”.
You have to be really dumb to do that.

I suppose in a way this is a loss for Jiwoo; and he hasn’t faced a fair loss in a while- yes he’s gotten pulpified by stronger opponents, but he hasn’t had to face losing in a non-overwhelming fight for many chapters. Seeing a strong ally get handed their own ass is making the harshness of the world “real” for him.
…wasted a good chance to tourney to see who fights Frame…and step up the gang…
