I like it when he kicks ass a wins everytime, but that doesn’t lead to compelling character. Writer is now showing for first time Jiwoo struggle to achieve victory with one move. He’s giving new nuances to his development to improve the story. Personally I want to see different sides of his Jiwoo shine hear. This is first time he realizes he can’t win trying mimic Kayden or Pluton; instead needs to create his unique style
Pathetic… if you want a MC to be weak and on the backfoot in every fight, dont have him declare all those chapters ago that he was not gonna lose as Kaydan apprentice, dont have him arrogantly declare war on all top 10’s disciples for no reason at all, and have him being constantly needing saving. This is so tireing waiting for him to keep his promises

I feel like the author don’t understand how speed is just overpowered bcz with this level of speed she can’t possibly bind him (it’s either he gets cut or the enemy’s attack gets cut

Alright well since everyone below is being a bunch of negative Nancy’s I’ll say that it’s nice to see that Jiwoo’s character progression moves in a natural way.
Self improvement isn’t a linear scale, sometimes you take steps back, fall on old habits, but still learn and improve. Dude is literally fighting out of his element in a live urban environment of course he’s going to struggle at first. It’s like people don’t pay attention to previous chapters unless there’s explosions.
Waste of time 380 chapters and he is still a bum
