I can understand him in a way, when i was younger i thought about creating a revolutionary game myself, but i realized i couldn’t do it myself and when i tried to find people to work with they rejected it because i could explain it well enough due to some problems i have. Not to mention these days many game companies are like that only chasing money instead of pushing the limits to make new games, not all of them but many do, of course that is due to multiple reasons i understand but it still hurts to know that. If something i worked on because it was my dream and i finally accomplished, it and got parse and recondition from it i too would do anything to defend it. But can’t he see what he is doing is going against his original goal in making the game, to give people a new world to explore, not to fulfil his own pride and ego, hah that is the problem with things like this, once you accomplish it you often lose site of the reasons you first wanted to make it while trying to protect it. On other sites there were people who said that if he told people that the game would collapse if they rushed the main quest then they might stop, but they can’t see that his pride and ego would never allow him to admit cause then people would mock him and say his world is wrong or something else, not to mention there could be guys who don’t care if the game is destroyed or might even try and help destroy the game due to reasons, I have meet people like that who destroy things others like just because they can’t control it, or make it how they want even at the expense of others. I could go on but this is long enough already so i will stop here for now
