Comments for chapter "Chapter 90"
wall-nim is back
bros spirit animal is an autistic speedrunner
It would be very thematic to just have a mountain of his corpses behind him.
So basically other than mentally getting stronger he also starting to unlock hidden skills inside his brain that doesnt require physically strength.
Now i would love seeing him dancing on that dog
Squire enemy requires Squire level to beat, the breakthrough next episode
ok so we all agree that him stepping over his own dead bodies is metal AF right?
even zlatan would be scared at this point
The manwha doesn’t explain it well, but the reason he started dying far more after the first time tries is because he realised he was expending way too much energy to kill mobs.
The first hundred, he dies to A LOT of mobs was because he still could not react instantly to them on a chaotic battlefield.
The second hundred, he dies to mobs because he was trying to hone “minimal movement, maximum impact”.
In the web novel, he truly dies a lot in this “Today”.
Also remember, he is not only training combat skills in “Today”, he is also analyzing the broader strategic landscape. This will be important again in a few chapters.
oooh. he is going to be SO P O W E R F U L when he gets back to camp
Encrid is truly a Souls Player. Dude would love fighting Malenia
this will definitely be his hardest trial to date but the harder it is the more he will grow
145 death and counting

Just a sudden thought, not sure if it’s an obvious “duh” thing but…
I don’t think mc brings back anything he gains except the experience. Thats why he’ll never reach an unclimbable wall. His body can already theoretically keep up with these bonkers techniques… it’s just the knowledge and experience of the technique that takes him a while.
It’s a good thing he never stops trying to improve before each wall, because if he did… he wouldn’t have the ability to climb it.
I think THATS what the ferryman is warning him about. He assumes that mc will grow lax, like most of the other people in the story had until they got influenced by mc, and when he reaches a wall he won’t have the strength to climb.
