What part of 10 days on foot is “remote”? That’s absolutely a normal distance between medieval cities, especially since you would typically have lesser settlements along the way that could serve as safe places for a traveler to rest on their journey.
It’s also a pet peeve I have with many isekai series, to say that people of that era had no concept of a day off. Rest is necessary to keep working. If you don’t have a regular day off, your body will quickly deteriorate, and you’ll become useless.
