All right, how to make sense of this one…..
I got it! The lacrima was a catalyst that converted Laxus’ body to that of a dragon slayer. Removing the catalyst doesn’t change the fact that he has the physical composition of a dragon slayer now, so it won’t really affect his magic. He doesn’t need the lacrima.
You can’t bamboozle ME, Fairy Tail. Try harder next time.
