I’d say this is a net positive, and possibly the most hero-like thing he’s done so far. Judging by the flashbacks and everyone’s attitude, Alex absolutely beating the sh*t out of people for fun in the guise of “training” isn’t uncommon. Getting rid of a nuisance like that it a good act in my opinion
