Lmao. In the real-life history of physics, Schrodinger and Heisenberg feuded for years about which was more fundamental, the continuous wave mechanics or discrete matrix mechanics, with each trying to prop up their own achievement. Well, at least that’s still better than some of the conflicts seen among mathematicians; for instance, Kronecker literally harassed Cantor into a mental asylum over his work on transfinite ordinals!
