System as it is, is a serious problem. Otherwise, to help popularize a lesser known God, the simplest and quickest way would be to display a “miracle” directly attributed to them. It’ll definitely lead to disputes with other religions and even the state sponsored one which follows that crappy God of War, though. Unfortunately this isn’t one of those country-building/world-building stories, or the MC would already be making plans to deal with that.
