Heiter (the Priest) means “bright”, “cheerful” (adjective); “Der Himmel ist heiter” (The sky is bright) is a common German phrase to say that it is sunny outside and not very cloudy. Metereologists specifically say that the sky is “heiter” if it is covered by less than 1/4 of clouds.

I saw this a few years ago when there was only a couple chapters. now that a few years have passed. I read it then watch the anime.
I cried when I read it for the first time, and now as there will be an adaptation I’m going to reread it and cry again
Eisen seems like a cool guy
The translation is a bit wonky but I can record it to where I understand and so far it’s a pretty good read although this is just the first chapter
This chap started off really sad, but at least it got a little better with some hope towards the end. The death of Demon King was indeed a heavy blow. It brought a tear to my eye. Later, however, it shows that the cowardly hero who murdered him ended up being reduced to a short, old, bald man. So, there was some small solace to be had. Karma has avenged you, Demon King-sama.
