How nice that Pumbaa grew up to be like Simba! And that he grew to be delicious.

I’d like to know what part of the pig the author thinks they magically extracted those anime roasts from. Maybe those are ear bones. Or how they cooked them, even at that relatively tiny size they would take hours to roast over a fire. And the meat of an adult boar is really gamey and tough. It can be delicious, but usually when it’s been properly washed over the course of a day, marinated for another day, and stewed with strong vegetable and spice flavors that can stand up to the overwhelming funk. I can say, categorically and without reservation, that a chunk of meat pulled out of a boar that has just been fighting and hastily burned over a campfire is not delicious.
The realism is really lacking in this story.
