So what have the villagers been doing? They seem lazy also, if he can create, he should be able to deconstruct and while I’m at it, why didn’t he just construct a trench system? It would’ve been much faster.

Yup, I think the butler and the chief soldier are more scarier then the mc! But just digging a trench for the water that long with no flow from the village to the river (or vies versa) can only spell disaster for the village (mainly cause of the rotting of vegetation in the moat will turn the area poisonous like so many English castles found out).

Minor question … redirecting a river is nice and all but … where does it go after the being in the village? You make a canal to the village, okay, but then?
Also, downhill from the river from there, what happens to them?
