errr 500 to 1000 km distance for a STATE of a country ……… that’s like leaving Tokyo and going all the way to the south as far as you can go on mainland Japan! Or going from Belgium all the way south through France to Spain! Or a quarter of the way from coast to coast of the United states or Australia! A duke is technically a royal but they are not royalty and you could lose your head for insurrection or revolt for saying they are (one of the finer discrepancies of nobility).
