Just my personal take—why make the opposing team Filipino?
Filipino vs. South Korean feels a bit uncomfortable for me. I know there was probably no ill intent behind it, but historically, Filipinos fought alongside Koreans during the Korean War.
Because of that shared history, I think it’s worth being a little more mindful. Some things—especially those tied to real sacrifices—deserve a bit of respect for the soldiers who fought and died. No hate intended, just something to consider.
I know this is fiction, but Filipino vs. Korean feels disrespectful given our shared history. Filipinos fought and died alongside Koreans during the war. Some things deserve more sensitivity.
