Fingies man! Watch the fingies! Where’s your goddamn crossguard man?
Only strong thought I had during this chapter. Oh man, this is so fun, the story is ripe for thinking about, but I can’t get enough of Sun Takeda’s understanding of Morality and Adulthood, precisely because he’s very classical, but also modern in his application of those.
From the writing, it seems that Takeda doesn’t abstractify his story much, nor does he think in a void, but in relationships between people and objects. That’s a very humane way of thinking, no wonder he’s such a good writer.
Also, he can sneak in big boobies in an otherwise very serious psychological drama about people with alien powers, which is a strong sign that he’s not decoupled from his more simple desires.
