The Troll has come with a gift that needs to be pried from his hands, hands that are likely to be cold and still when they get the Lute out. Also, our little bard is holding on impressively well considering everything she’s been through this night.

I’m getting the sinking feeling that the Minotaur girl will end up dealing with the Troll, and won’t make it home. Goblin Slayer has gone up against larger enemies in Year One, yes, but never while having to protect someone. Plus, while I love that he’s trying to retrieve the Lute, his older self probably would tell her to forget about it–true, they went after Priestess’ chainmail in the main series, but that was also because their main objective coincided. Hope this works out without losing anyone, so they can get Minotaur girl home to rest.
