I love how you can see him make mistakes he doesnt make later, he doesnt change weapons so his sword becomes dull so the wounds become less lethal, he lets his guard down multiple times, he doesnt check for branches in the cave system like he does in his actual introduction,etc. It shows he actually learned those things and wasnt just born with anti-goblin software installed

Equipment style may be the same, however there are many modifications to get to the present form. It’s nice how they show why every modification happens. E.g. Goblin grabs the horns of the helmet, sword too long, sword too rusty. It’s one of the many reasons I enjoy goblin slayer tbh.
