My wife and daughter do that crap all the time where they feel a certain way and say nothing but you have to figure it out or they get mad. I’m not a mind reader nor do I wish to be, tell people how you feel or they won’t know, one can only guess or assume and when one does they are usually off the mark.
We the reader know how she feels but GS is probably thinking, her uncle asked me and she asked me so I’m interacting, or he’s possibly thinking if I do bad teacher will beat me say yes say I see do not anger other people, or he’s just thinking this girl is weird but she’s nice, or push cart, but realistically it’s goblins. So she needs to just say hey I’ve been thinking about our village and our fight as children but I’m glad you’re alive and I’ve got feelings for you.
