My original theory basically, i hope I’m wrong cause i don’t like predictable stories.

I have a feeling that mc has played and won many god games and every time he finds out his sister is gone for good (or for some other reasons), he makes the wish to enter the next God game because fighting is the one thing giving him purpose in life that makes him feel alive.
I feel like the handicaps he got like the chains and the not learning how to summon his weapon are all things he did to himself. He asks God to put him in God game again with handicaps to make it more ‘fun’ for him next time.
That would explain his broken mind that enjoys fighting and the battle instincts he has and the familiarity he feels with his weapon.
uh so i did a quick search and glaive basically meant this originally and then got thrown whenever there was a cool weapon you didnt know the name for
