So that’s why he left, the former leader of the clan asked him to be the advisor after making his son leader (the former leader’s son)… prior to that, mc was fighting a war which was just a distraction, so he didn’t know what was happening until he returned to the clan

i think the hole is for the sound so when he swing his sword it will make a whistle or sound.
