As for the request, I hope it’s not the “Plz marry my daughter. Oh, this is a Royal Decree, you absolutely cannot refuse it.”
Becoming a Royal Court Mage is the option I’d prefer over this boring repetitive harem shenanigans.
Or even “Plz go kill the Demon King” (if there is any in this story) would be acceptable
