I really like that unlike other stories the Rükner family is not just bad to be bad
There are bad guys but also good people trying to make amends (like the treasurer)
In most stories it’s either all bad or there’s one good apple that gets bullied until saved by the mc
It’s refreshing to see a good apple that is succesful without having to be overly trauma dumping
