Even if the story isn’t where we’d want it to be, the art itself only continues to improve over the years. I don’t think theres another manga out there where I can so easily visualize all the movements that the people are doing, where even good tournament mangas can have readability issues in terms of movement.
Sometimes I think it’s better for Ippo to be in a coma since the Gonzo fight years ago, and this is his dream to wake up again so that Kumi doesn’t have to change his bedpan.
