Morikawa always have health issue, I totally respect the passion he puts in, but why he cant give project to someone else and he would only write story. Like I have been waiting for Ippos comeback for too long. Its sad that we have to always wait more than week and gets like 10-20, its rare to see from him pages over 20.

To be honest Morikawa is old person who loves his art to his bone. This is his master piece, so i totally understand he doesnt want to give up. But he needs to know that he is not gonna be any younger, if he wants to finish this properly, without rushing story. He should let main drawing to someone else. I guess manga would be slighly different, but I think most of us love Ippo due to story. Because its realistic, what would you do in your future is always in your hand, atleast thats why I love this show so much. I just wish I would see end of the Hajime no Ippo. Including that Ippo came back and finally fight Ricardo, maybe thats the end of show last fight. Who know either way, this manga is eating my patiente xD

I know nothing big happened, but this chapter is absolutely hilarious to me. I thought for a second he might finally be respectful towards Ippo, as Ippo helped train him for this fight, but nope. On the other hand, he is saying “that” instead of “him”. Perhaps Mashiba is seeing him as the non-human Demon he is. Ippo can cross that line.
