Isn’t MC being tricked into helping the demons despite his refusal? The system already asked him to help them once, and all of the demons in hell were watching his refusal from some crystal depicting the perspective the system’s display (so it seems that they have some connection to the system), and now they are happy about his return for a second mission? Also, we know that hell was locked down by the heavenly beings after MC returned to Earth, and now all of the missions he’s receiving are to destroy the golems and automata created by the heavenly beings that are stationed in hell? MC didn’t even recognize these new mechanical life forms when they appeared, so I’m thinking he’s not just replaying his memories…
