I kinda hate it. The whole “group of students making impossible tech in their school club” thing doesn’t feel like it fits the rest of the story which has been really grounded so far.

that was part of the premise of a manga i found once; a bunch of people booted up a VR game, and became holograms in the real world. And got stuck like that.
