Ok, i had multiple theories. Seems like his flashback shot 2 of them to death. My first theory was that he was a beastkin, but that was disregarded because beastkin couldn’t smell the differences in souls. My 2nd theory was that he’s a summoned demon. This one is more logical, because demons are supernatural creatures, and would make sense for them to smell souls. My 3rd theory was that he was Isaac and Clea’s future son. But that theory got shot down because he suspected that she seems like a completely different person. If he were her son, he’d know about her personality before going back in time. My last theory was that maybe he was the demon king keeping tabs on her, but the demon king knows everything, so that theory got shot down because this kid lacks knowledge. So its back to the theory that he’s a demon.
