Sooo … humans used mindless creatures to do what said creature would have done anyway… and now said creature is mad exactly why?

They feel mad because they unexpectedly (from the humans perspective) evolved* into beings that now have a mind of their own and feel enslaved?
But while still mindless the slimes would have filtered the waste water anyway.

*= This manga, as so many, uses the term evolution wrong. On so many levels.
[Insert here a 20k word paragraph rant about that biological evolution never occurs in complex living beings that are already there, but between generations. That evolution doesn’t mean it has to become better or stronger. And so on]

mc can use magic bestowal on all the equipment tho? what if it isnt limited to a skill like slash amd he can just put agility enhancement on shoes and defence on a shirt
