As long as I don’t see any Food Wars reference this should be a fun read
Don’t get me wrong Food Wars is a great cooking show but I couldn’t watch one episode without my mom thinking I was watching hentai ……..

The portal that leads back and forth between our world and the other reminds me of Cheat Skill in Another World. Maybe that’s the main character’s grandfather? And it looks like the wolf (maybe baby fenrir?) is going to be the main character’s personal taste tester until he regains his sense of taste.
Also, this is very similar to Campfire Cooking in Another World, but with a baby fenrir, instead of a nearly thousand year-old one (and an over-powered slime).
