Healing Life Through Camping In Another World - Chapter 5

No way, the Americans in this comment section also pretend like they have culture outside of jazz and Hollywood movies?
That’s crazy lmao
Everyone’s wrong, I did a paper on German American food for a general. Hamburg is the port town where plated mincemeat steaks came to the US from. (Europe actually got mincemeat steaks from the Monghol raiders in the 12th century A.D. if you can believe it.)
After a few decades being sold as ‘Hamburg Steak’ in New York one of any number of diners (no one knows which for certain) started selling sausages and Hamburg steak on bread and then buns so they could be wrapped for people in a hurry and no time to sit and eat. Thus we got the ‘Hamburger’
aint the birthplace of hamburgers js the city hamburg
I’m still trying to get a grasp on this. It isn’t bad but it also isn’t amazing. Seems kind of in the middle and it feels like at some point it’ll either draw me in or I’ll step back after giving it a shot.
Going to america to learn cooking ? Not the best idea I’d say
Urgh quality control was asleep, huh? At one panel they deleted the translation, but not fully. And in others they forgot to remove the Korean text rendering it unreadable.

The birthplace huh?
Good to see the misconception alive and kicking lol
let him cook lul

As an asian, I really hate eating hamburgers in this part of town. We just ignore the veg and bread because they taste so bad… We even have vastly different ways of preparing and seasoning patties.
