To those confused about the Tang clan’s position and why poison has its own limitations is because when martial artists reach a certain peak then their immune to poison so how would a clan that specializes in poison beat someone of the Martial Peak realm that’s immune, the answer is they won’t and can’t.

Developing poison alongside martial prowess is the way to go but it’s nearly impossible to have a practitioner who’s a master at both.

Think of it this way, Ino in Naruto family specialize in body swap and poison yet it’s hardly seen as relevant for the story because most people once they reach a certain level are immune by most of those. Useless Sakura was still able to take out an Akatsuki despite being poisoned. Gotta have more than just that
