I don’t know why this is a plot point. Why drag his niece falling in love with him but cancel it.
Before anyone says I’m a creep. I also do not like the fact that there was a plot point of his niece falling for him. I am saying, why in the F was it a plot point in the first place. There were SEVERAL chances that the author could have decided to just have the MC tell his niece but just didn’t and let it drag, For what? It’s not even interesting and majority ( I say majority because there will always be some who would like it) didn’t wanna see it.
Also, before you guys say, oh he needed the swords to prove it. NO he did not. Heck, the niece realized it with a memory of the original Hu Gong saying something to her (their last conversation I think that was). WITH WORDS not with the swords. Heck, he could have done it the first time he saved her.
This love plot point was dumb, disgusting, weird and should not have been included. It’s like the author wanted it but backed out because he got scared readers would see him/her as a creep.
Now that the niece is out of play…this not gonna be picked up as a Japanese anime? 
I don’t understand why this is a plot point. If you were never going to have it lead anywhere, why even create this character, or this misunderstanding, or her initial crush. Wtf is this about?
The author wrote just another MC that’s spending TWO lifetimes being asexual or adverse to relationships with women, but keeps throwing peerless beauties, goddesses and fairies at him, for absolutely no payout.
Thank god the author isn’t a weirdo or a pervert. I was bit afraid that they would pursue the weird kind of relationship. I am totally shipping Hu gong with that woman who was stuck in ice for a long time, seems like a incredibly good match.
I look forward to when he’s able to tell everyone he’s actually Hu Gong but I also sorta feel bad when his “family” back at the archive find out that their son/grandson/brother really died but succeeding somehow in committing suicide. that’s gonna be sad.
Glad he was able to be honest but kind of sad they can’t still be lovers. he is in a new body after all
