Why show off his timer as well? I feel like Lucifer would at least find that off. He could’ve had them glance at it while mentioning it. Or just disguising their conversation better, like talking about it all while playing a game or something. 😭
My guess is he doesn’t pull off in finding Dante and has to end up putting the detective in his hell. Where they have to cut their losses since the timer’s about to end and the detective asks him to find Dante and take him down eventually and then release him from his hell of betrayal once he does.
