the dungeons the academy uses probably pass time differently so you can train more also hes literally a swordsman and we all know that just having a low tier talent changes everything. Mc has S tier int and mana but doesnt hava magic talent, so he can probably read mcs moves and instinctively block just because he has a sword related talent
