The MC really has ultra low situational awareness and common sense to not realise whatever he has been doing is out of the norm and leaves obvious traces to be suspicious of him.
Everything that was going smoothly for him, is a result of these people *explicitly* allowing him to do what he wants.
This has NOTHING to do with his 8 ⭐️ratings or increased stats. He is lucky to have people who actually *likes* him.
