The MC should explain his army depends on how many magic stones he has. This may be threatening to places, but in desperation to defeat the demons, a contract could be made to provide him with them.
He really should be thinking of as many ways as possible to monopolise the magic stone trade. I sort of dislike how the amount he has, has become unimportant, and he simply has enough each time.
…And, if he does run out, he should be blaming himself. He already has some crazy connections. Magical stones = power to him. It’s crazy he only relies on making money and pulling them from monster corpses to get them. It’s already established he’s great at negotiating… So why won’t he push royalty into giving him stones? Even if they’re low now, when they recover as a result of HIM, they should provide him with stones.

MC better be collecting all those magic stones. That’s the first thing he should have said: “if i succeed in this massacre, i will require all the magic stones”
