For reference, that archbishop wrote the book on why the very thing the mc can do (undead with holy powers) is impossible. A comparison would be walking up to the guy that wrote the thesis on gravity (Isaac Neuton I think) and slowly floating into the sky.
A complete opposite of a well understood phenomena.
