As I understand he killed his girlfriend Nananko by drilling the hole in her head, that’s why we see the panel where the bandage around her head is getting more bloody and she is not with him at the end. The police together with Ito finally found him after one year so he’s going to jail. However, I’m a bit lost on why everyone suddenly has his face

Hole-to-hole communication didn’t go so well. Jokes aside, this was a wonderful piece of literature. When you read nothing but shonen and manhwa, it’s easy to forget that this is an artform like any other.
