Sooo… It’s reverse Nazis? The “survivors” are the old gen species and implicitly behind or “below” the “infectees”, kinda?
Feels like a step towards Nietzsche’s “Übermensch”-concept, without the superficial fascism bs / polarized contrary to our worlds history of the Nazis abuse of that concept (, but still done by germans, lol).
I can see that happening in real life, just like some other sci-fi books with similar contents socio-critically described.
